Bowler hat recommendations?I'm always looking to expand my hat collection. I'm thinking of a bowler, but not seeing anything I really like. Anyone have any suggestions? Any pics? |

Re: Bowler hat recommendations? I have a Dorfman-Pacific bowler that has a good fit and pleasing shape. It just happens to be bright purple to match the zoot suit I wore when I was DeeJaying back in the neo-Swing era. I found the hat at a little shop in downtown Seattle back in the late nineties. I don't wear it all that often, but it has held up well.

Re: Bowler hat recommendations?Cool. I am more of a fedora fan but the bowler hat would be the occasional change of pace. Got any pics to post? |

Re: Bowler hat recommendations?I have two - both black: A vintage Glyn & Co. (London), that is too snug and whose ribbon edging is in dire need of replacement - I don;t wear this one, really, and a newish one by Park Royal, which looks great, but is not as sturdy. However, I do wear that one in the fall/winter. I am wearing it in my avatar.... |

Re: Bowler hat recommendations?I've never had a bowler. Only fedoras, porkpies, cowboy hats and newsies. I wonder how I would look in one. Then again I wonder if I have anything appropriate to wear with one? |
